System 7 Training
| New Service Announcement: 1st October 2006 |
|
System 7 has been working with publishers since 2001, and has seen how those with the best informed
and most trained personnel have managed to progress their companies furthest on the Web over time, sometimes
with dramatic results. System 7 has always provided publishers with training, but previously only in tandem
with provision of System 7 Platform. Now a new independent service has been launched, System 7 Training.
System 7 Training has been launched in response to the rapid changes that Web 2.0 is driving in digital
publishing and publishing in general. Often a gap is arising where management, editorial and other key personnel
that might have been considered reasonably up-to-date in relation to the old Web have quickly become out-of-date.
It is imperative that such personnel understand the changes that are now shaping the publishing industry if
a publishing organization is to operate at an optimum level and thrive in the emerging environment.
System 7 Training provides a highly flexible solution to this problem, which can be applied at
multiple levels within a publishing organization:
- Rapid refresher and bootcamp courses for publishing executives and editorial that want to quickly
get up to speed with Web 2.0 and what it means.
- Sessions for print advertising sales teams making the transition to online, with instruction on
the ways that online advertising works and how it can be sold.
- Search engine optimization and search marketing instruction for marketing and other personnel.
- In-depth technical instruction for developers working with XML, Microsoft .NET or System 7, and
new technologies such as AJAX.
- Tailored Web 2.0 training solutions: training programs can be provided that are tailored to meet specific
management objectives.
- Personnel evaluation: System 7 Training can take an inventory of your personnel's Web 2.0 skills and
understanding to assist with personal development programs.
System 7 Training always takes a refreshing fun approach to training, based on examination of real life
examples and case studies, and aims to install passion in those it assists.
